Poujoulat designs, manufactures and installs absorptive and reactive made-to-measure silencers in line with your requirements and operating conditions in order to treat transmission of noise through outlets or walls of exhausts. Our experience in exhaust acoustics also enables us to refurbish existing silencers.

Our acousticians take into account spectral analysis. We identify and characterize the source(s) of noise and propose the best adapted solution for noise treatment. Technologies need to be adapted to achieve the desired performance.

DYNAMIC VIBRATION DAMPER

The dynamic vibration damper is specially designed and installed in the head of the stack to absorb vibrations and consequently mechanical stress applied to the stack.

Vibrations can particularly originate in the airflows around the stack (Karman vortex street), but also earthquakes and, in certain cases, pulsing sources of extraction linked to the stack (fan, turbine).

The dynamic vibration damper is a pendular ring made up of a mass spring system dissipates mechanical energy transmitted to the stack.

Our flue gas condenser is a highly efficient system that recovers heat from polluted flue gas.

This innovative solution developed uses a new generation direct heat exchanger between air & water, Terraosave, which mixes smokes and water.

The innovation is in the thermodynamix mixing process, which pushes the smokes into water so as to collect as much energy as possible, to increase the efficiency of thermal recovery with a very compact solution.

FILTRATION

Combustion products consist of tiny solid particles which cause breathing difficulties and can damage equipment. It is necessary to remove these particles from the smoke before they reach the chimney outlet. Our thermodynamic mixing process effectively filters pollutants from the flue gas.
